Terms of Service
1. The service
QR-DigitalCode ("we", "us") provides an online tool at https://qr-digitalcode.app for creating GS1 Digital Link QR codes, GS1 QR codes and GS1 DataMatrix barcodes ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation.
2. Free and paid features
- Without a paid plan you can create and preview a limited number of different codes (currently 10, plus 10 more after creating an account and verifying your email). While a single GS1 QR code is shown in the preview it can be downloaded as PNG.
- Unlimited create & preview, SVG / PDF downloads, bulk generation and GS1 DataMatrix downloads require a paid subscription ("Pro").
- Pro includes downloads within a fair-use limit (currently 20,000 codes per 24 hours) to protect the Service from abuse.
3. Accounts
Provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; do not share accounts or resell access. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- Pro is billed monthly or yearly in US dollars through PayPal (PayPal balance or debit/credit card). Prices are shown on the Pricing page before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account menu; cancellation stops future charges and Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Prices may change for future periods; we will email you at least 14 days before a price change affects your subscription.
- Prices do not include taxes that may apply in your country; where required, you are responsible for them.
5. Codes you create
- Codes generated by the Service are static: the data is inside the symbol, so they keep working after you cancel. You own the codes and files you generate.
- Only use GTINs and other GS1 identification keys you are authorised to use (normally allocated by a GS1 Member Organisation). The Service checks syntax and check digits but cannot verify ownership or registration.
- For GS1 Digital Link codes you are responsible for the domain and resolver the code points to. We do not host resolvers or product pages.
- Always test-scan codes and verify print quality (e.g. ISO/IEC 15415) before printing in volume. We are not liable for the cost of reprinting.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to encode unlawful, deceptive or malicious content (for example phishing URLs), to infringe others' rights, or to overload, scrape or circumvent the Service's limits and payment.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features; we will not remove core paid features during a paid period without a pro-rata refund.
8. Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms; if we close an account without cause we refund the unused part of a paid period.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site at least 14 days before they take effect.
